Spaceclaims (spaceclaims.com) is an independent homestead claim registry for off-world locations on the Moon and Mars. We are not affiliated with any government space agency. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you use this site or register a claim.

Claim registration: When you register a claim, we collect the name and contact details you provide, along with the coordinates and description of your claimed location. This information is stored in the public registry.
Contact forms: If you contact us with a question, we receive your name and email address.
Automatically collected: Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes your IP address and request metadata to serve the site and prevent abuse.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To record and display your homestead claim in the public registry.
- To respond to your enquiries.
- To maintain site security and performance.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Cookies
This site uses only essential Cloudflare security cookies and the Leaflet map library (which sets no tracking cookies). We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
5. California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion of your personal information, and to opt out of any sale of personal information. If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, or port your personal data; to restrict or object to its processing; and to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. Note that claim records are public by design — erasure of public registry entries may affect the completeness of the historical record. Contact us to discuss your options.
7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently received a child's data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
8. Data Retention
Claim records are retained indefinitely as part of the public registry. Contact correspondence is retained for up to 2 years.

We may update this policy periodically. Changes will appear on this page with a new effective date.
